In the Eastern Bay of Plenty, 6km east and over the hill from Whakatane or 90 minutes' drive from either Rotorua or Tauranga you’ll find Ohope Beach.

Known as the seaside playground of the Eastern Bay of Plenty, it's not surprising that it’s been voted as New Zealand's best beach by the AA Traveller and Green Party poll. The town slogan is Sunshine Capital of New Zealand and with 11km of golden sand, small rolling waves and safe swimming, what's not to love! 

Ohope Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park has been operating for over 40 years. On 1 March 2021, the park was purchased by Ian & Vicki Smith the previous owners of Waihi Beach TOP 10 and Beachaven TOP 10.

The Christmas period is a beautiful time of the year when abundant pohutukawa that surround the town and Ohope Beach TOP 10 comes alive. Kids can look forward to meeting Santa on his tractor, the Kids Club, photo ops with Toppy and our onsite Cabin 8 café will be open from Boxing Day.
