The Lions Club of Ohope Beach holds a monster book fair in the first week of January each year. Thousands of books are donated to the club during the year. While the greater majority are novels and fiction, the fair also stocks books on gardening, cooking, childcare, biographies and autobiographies, puzzles.

The next monster book fair will run from January 2-4, 2021. People who have books to donated can contact the fair coordinator Sue at 027 247 7303.
