Alternative Education (AE) Tutor Vacancy
32 Hours Full-time, Flexible

Eastbay REAP is excited to add to our Whakatāne-based learning TEAM.  We’re looking for a contextual learning guru to be part of our AE programme.  The role will be part of a teaching TEAM to re-engage rangatahi back into education.

What the role requires (these are a must for all applicants):
•    Teaching or youth programme delivery experience
•    Learning and pathway plan experience
•    Strong relationship builder with ākonga and whānau
•    Proactive communicator with follow through
•    Committed to Tiriti o Waitangi-led practices
•    Positive and humble TEAM approach

We hope to see applicants who understand or will upskill around:
•    Education outside of the classroom experience
•    Positive behaviour / strengths-based teaching models
•    Collaborative programme delivery
•    Career planning and NCEA knowledge
