Part Time (24 hours per week), Fixed Term

Eastbay REAP is excited to recruit a Playgroup Facilitator for our Early Childhood Education team, based in Whakatāne. Our Community Playgroups engage with local whānau, providing another option for early years learning. We focus on learning activities, including play, language and identity-based topics. As a Playgroup Facilitator you will be responsible for providing support and advice to caregivers and maintaining high quality curriculum-based activities for tamariki.

The days of work are set around our Whakatāne Playgroup, Monday to Thursday with a rostered day off Rāmere/Friday. The successful candidate will have proven facilitation skills, and experience with or a strong understanding of a strengths-based, culturally appropriate approach to learning. Qualifications related to early years are preferred but not required.
