VAN BERGEN Jacobus Johannes Maria ‘Jack’ — On Tuesday 2nd September 2025 peacefully at Whakatane Hospital, aged 97. Dearly loved husband for 65 years, of Ruth. Loved father and father-in-law of Marion and Derek, Kenneth, Vera and Paul, and Trevor and Joanne. Loved Grandad to his 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Loved brother of Ludo and brother-in-law to Margaret and Patricia.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, King Street, Whakatane on Friday 5th September at 11am, followed by burial at Kawerau Cemetery.
