ANDERSON Roland — Passed away peacefully in the Whakatāne Hospital after a long illness, surrounded by his loving whānau; aged 73 years. Devoted husband of Kathleen Anderson (nee Pewhairangi).  The best father to Hinerau, Rawinia, Niheta and Rose Anderson.  Loved Koro of Joshua, Teani and Chase.  Beloved son of the late Maurice and Ellen  Anderson.  mokopuna of William and Waimārama Anderson also of Leopold and Pohoira Anderson.  Loved brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
NGĀ WHAKANEKENEKE Uncle Roland will arrive at Kokohinau Marae, Te Teko on Tuesday, 13 May 2025 at 10am. He will remain at the marae until his funeral day which will be held on Thursday, 15 May 2025 at 10am, followed by burial at Kokohinau Urupā. Haere rā e Pā. Te ringa manaaki i ngā tini manuhiri i tae ki tō marae. Te tāngata iti te kupu, engari ngākau whakaiti. Kua uru atu koe ki te ao, ki ōu mātua tīpuna e tū pōhiri mai rā i te marae o te hunga mate.
