VAN BOHEEMEN Maria ‘Riet’ — Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 14th January 2025, aged 95. Loved wife of the late Bill. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Betty Ann and Peter Kamp, John and Michele, Yvonne and Chris Sang, and Michael and Elizabeth. Cherished Oma to her 15 grandchildren and their partners; William and Kim, Marcel and Estelle, Stephanie and Michael, Jozef and Katrin, Matthew and Lisa, Amy and Will, Sarah and Matt, Rhys and Jordyn, Ben and Juan, Ashley and Christine, Courtney, Ruby and Willie, Charlotte and Dave, Phoebe and Rickie, and Jack. Special Great-Oma to Zoe, Ella, Roman, Emilia, Holly, Tom, Adam, Lucy, Gabrielle, Johann, Xavier, Nadia and Harriet. Rosary will be recited in Riet’s honour at St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, King Street, Whakatane on Sunday 19th January at 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the same church on Monday 20th January at 11am, followed by burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. 
May she rest in God’s loving arms.
