STEPHEN Irene — On Sunday, 28 July 2024, peacefully at Mary Shapley Private Hospital surrounded by her beloved sons and families, aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Sandy Stephen and younger sister to the late Sandy Alexander. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Stewart and Jodie, Sandy and Laura, John and Rebecca. Adored and most loved Grandma of Ivy, Reef, Makai, Mac and Bobbi. We would like to express our profound gratitude to the staff of Mary Shapley for their support, care and compassion given to Irene over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Whakatane SPCA or may be left at the service. A celebration of Irene's life will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services, 21 King Street, Whakatane, on Thursday, 1st August at 2pm, followed by private cremation.
