DAVIS George Richard, (RNZAF 436786) —  On 4 June 2024.  Surrounded by his family at Mary Shapley home, aged an amazing 101 years! What a life! Much loved husband of the late Rona.  Cherished father and father-in-law of Charm and Michael and Victoria and Gary.  Treasured Granddad of Liam and Jenna, Sean, Hannah and Reid, Kelen and Shane. As per George’s wishes, a private cremation has been held. The family welcome everyone to a celebration of George's life to be held at the Ohope Bowling Club, 1.00pm, Friday 21st June. George was so touched by the wonderful support and generosity of the local people in his later years, and the family wish to acknowledge the amazing folk at The Bean, New World, Robert Harris, his carers, neighbours and friends. A very special man who will be greatly missed.
