SHAW Ailsa Lilian (nee Dippie) — On Monday 26th October 2026, peacefully at Mary Shapley Private Hospital, aged 87. Much loved and cherished wife and best friend of the late Arthur. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Helen and Lindsay, Mark and Sarah, Glenn and Di. Extremely proud Nana of Rhys, Emma, Kieran, Vicki, Andi, Cam, Todd, Ben and their partners. Great-Nana of Heath, Wyatt, Braxton, Maddison, Lenny, Stevie, Louis, Jesse, Evie, Archie, Benee and MacKenzie. A celebration of Ailsa’s well lived life will be held in the Whakatane Crematorium Chapel, Ohope Road, Whakatane on Monday 2nd November at 11am, followed by a private cremation.
