WESTER Gerrit (Garry) — On Friday 3rd July 2026 peacefully at home aged 77. Adored partner of Lynette Wood. Dearest mate of Marlene and the late Angela. Much loved Poppa Garry to Jade, Rohan, Roman, Jessie and Casey-Rose. Great-Poppa of Willow and Oliver. Son of Rinze (dec) and Teatske (dec) Wester. Brother and brother-in-law of Doetie (dec) and Chris, Heert (dec) and Ann, and Chris and Lorraine. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Hospice for their services. A funeral service for Garry will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services Ltd, 21 King Street, Whakatane on Wednesday 8th July at 1pm, followed by private cremation.
