JAKES Myradel Eljean — On Monday 25th May 2026 peacefully in Rotorua surrounded by love, aged 80. Beloved wife of the late Brian. Adored Mum and mother-in-law of Sian and Peter, Sacha and Luke, and Tamsyn and David. Loved step-Mum of Brett and Kristina. Much loved Nana of Madison, Finn, Lucas, Zac, Mila, Zoe, Leo, and Freya. A celebration of Myradel’s life will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services, 21 King Street, Whakatane on Thursday 28th May at 2pm, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Dementia NZ and may be left at the service.
