SHAW Brian Douglas — On Monday, 18th May 2026, peacefully, surrounded by family at Mary Shapley Retirement Home, aged 89 years. Much loved husband of Kathleen. Loved father and father-in-law of Janine and Gus, Peter and Sue, and Donna and Tobin. Loved grandfather of Selena and Rhys, Jemma and Rory, Alice, Kendra and Chris, Aimee and Sam, and Libby, and great grandfather of Jett, Darcey, Raine and Remy.

A funeral service for Brian will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services Ltd, 21 King Street, Whakatane on Saturday 23rd May at 11am, followed by a private cremation.
