MAPU Teata Kau (Teddy) — On Saturday, 14th March 2026, suddenly and while doing what he loved at home, aged 83 years. Dearly loved and treasured husband of Marilyn 'Maz' for over 62 years. Loving father and father-in-law of David and Lorraine 'Rainey', and Steven and Tina. Adored Papa of Ryan, and Shayla. Best friend to his cat Missy. The absolute best maker of custard squares and pikelets aka 'Waffletes'. A big thank you to the team of carers from Te Puna Ora for all their care and support. Though quiet in nature, the love and legacy Teddy leaves behind speak louder than words ever could. In accordance with his wishes a private cremation has been held, his journey will be complete when his ashes return home to Aitutaki, Cook Island.
