SUTCLIFFE Harry James Grout —  Hear ye, hear ye. Harry passed away peacefully on 29 January, in his 90th year, with Gay, his beloved wife of 65 years and lifelong teammate, holding his hand. A respected school teacher in Huntly, Orini, Ngaruawahia and Rotorua – and a man of kindness, wisdom, and great storytelling.  He and Gay shared a life of boating and yachting, including running the 'Matatata' - a tea and coffee service to Kawau Island, and later enjoying time on their leisure boat and motorhome – exploring NZ with their cat, Nobby. Active members of Eastern Bay VCC, the Wolseley Club, and Rotary, and the town crier of Warkworth. Loved father and father-in-law of Steve and Fiona, Earle and Philippa. Cherished grandfather to Hayley and Greg, Rachel and Nyk, Matthew, Claudia, Jasper and Bella, Blair and Melissa, and Fleur. Treasured uncle to Adrian and Linda, Robyn-Anne, and their children. Many fond boating memories made on 'Tara' at Snell's Beach, and growing up on the Rotorua Lakes. Forever remembered – his stories forever in our hearts. A cremation for Harry has been held.
