COWAN Stephen Robert Mackie (Steve) — It is with the deepest regret and sadness that we inform all friends and family of the sudden passing of Steve on Friday 9th January 2026, aged 69. Steve was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a devoted friend and colleague to many. We hope to see you all there to celebrate him in his life and farewell him in his passing. A celebration of his life will be held in the Whakatane Crematorium Chapel, on Thursday 15th January at 11am, followed by a private cremation.
