JONES Eric — In Loving Memory. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eric Jones, who died peacefully on Tuesday 17 December. Beloved husband of Dorothy, father to Anne and Neil, and grandfather to Marcella (dec). 
Eric taught at the Edgecumbe and Whakatane High Schools and was one of the founding teachers at Whakatane Intermediate School teaching there until the late 1970s when he relocated to Auckland. Eric continued to teach in Auckland amazingly until he was 80 years old.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service, which will be held on 16th January at 10.30 am at Dils North Harbour Chapel 185 Schnapper Rock Road Albany Auckland. Following the service, there will be a gathering at the chapel to celebrate Eric’s life.
