GORDON Barry Hector — Aged 84 years on Friday, 7th November 2025, suddenly while walking his beloved dog Opal. Dearly loved husband of Jane. Cherished father and father-in-law of Narelle and David, Doug and Sally, Rachael and Pete, and Helen and Sean. Loved Grandad of 9 grandchildren and great-Grandad of 2. Loved brother of Rod and Gaye. A very special thanks to the neighbours and emergency services for all their help and support. A celebration of Barry's life was held in the Whakatane Crematorium Chapel on Tuesday 11th November, followed by private cremation.
