This year’s Life Education campaign Wear Yellow for Harold saw Harold the giraffe visit Apanui School, James St School and Thornton School.

The aim for the campaign is to promote the Life Education Trust and the education work it does with tamariki.

The schools support the day with gold coin donations, dressing up in yellow and having a visit from their big friend Harold.

“The children love having Harold visit,” said Life Education Trust EBOP chair John Spring.

“They just go nuts with excitement. Lots of photos, hugs and pictures and stories about Harold. It really endorses our messages about being friendly, fun and caring for each other.”
