Thank you, Elaine McGlinchey, for your response to my letter (Beacon, December 24) mentioning the dangerous necessity of negotiating a path around cars parked across the footpath, usually by way of travelling some distance the wrong way up the road, on a mobility scooter.

I have already obtained these cute “yellow feet” and used one.  

They may now be obtained free from Grey Power Whakatāne by its members; so a big thank you to Living Streets Aotearoa for their thought for others and ingenuity in creating and marketing these aids at a very cheap price.
