Rotary recently organised another tree planting in Ohope for the Whakatāne District Council.
Rotary members, friends of Rotary and both Trident and Whakatāne High School Interact clubs gathered on Saturday morning at Elizabeth Street.
The team planted 220 trees over three hours, rewarded by the council with a morning tea.
Next up for Rotary includes preparations for Daffodil Day and Pink Ribbon fundraisers.
Rotary meets each Tuesday at the RSA for dinner at 5pm, with a meeting commencing at 6pm.
