Please people, do not drive along the top of the stopbank on the Waioweka River.

With all the recent rain, the ground could be soft.

Heavy vehicles driving along could compromise the strength of the bank to protect our town and people.

I have seen several vehicles, including one towing a horse float, and one going along at night.

There is absolutely no reason for unauthorised vehicles to use the bank as a road. Please keep off the bank so it can keep on protecting us.
