KTM put on an experience for six, seven and eight-year-olds, with 15 youngsters a round given the opportunity to be treated like royalty for the day.
Rocky, who put through an impressive application, was stoked to be chosen.
“I loved meeting the pro riders; Jett Lawerence and New Zealander Cole Davies were my favourites.”
Rocky said the experience was very special.
“The track was cool; the loops were huge, and I loved riding in the sand.”
He also enjoyed competing on the KTM50 E5, an electric version of the petrol bike he competes on in New Zealand.
“The bike was cool. I was number seven and it had my name on the front plate, which I got to keep and bring home.”

She said they were grateful to everyone who showed support for Rocky.
“We just want to thank all of our family, friends and community for the love and support Rocky received leading into his race and afterwards. Next, Rocky will shift his focus to the junior motocross nationals, taking place in Pukekohe from April 11.
