The Local Musicians’ Showcase concert was a huge hit for its audience.

The concert was held last Saturday in the Church of St George and St John and organised by Music Whakatane.

Music Whakatane’s Tom Bayliss said it was one of the most varied and successful for some time.

“The level of performance from some of the   performers was of a professional level some people thought.

“Local people are often unaware of the advanced ability that exists in our community,   and it was again one of Music Whakatane's most popular concerts.”
