ŌPŌTIKI artisan Joyanne Onekawa and friends will hold their Ōpōtiki Community Market under the trees at the new playground and reserve at the intersection of Church and Ford streets on Saturday.
Items up for grabs will include bread, plants, recycled items, handmade products, macadamia nuts, rongoā and preserves.
“To sell products at this market you will need to have something to do with their creation – it’s a no Temu market,” Ms Onekawa said.
“It can be handmade items, recycled or upcycled items.”
Ms Onekawa said the market will run from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
“The community market runs from October through to February,” she said.
