Wow!  I have seldom seen an issue of our paper carrying more meaty, sensible and thoughtful opinion pieces than that of last Friday.

From Sandy Milne's very well-written letter on Whakatāne District Council spending through the three others along the same lines, to the three objections on letting more GE loose, with no way to control or limit it, are all points of view with which I can wholeheartedly concur. Then, for good measure we had Jack Karetai-Barrett’s latest attempt to educate us ignoramuses.
