Wow, what a breath of fresh air, Erin Green. (Beacon, November 20).

A reasoned, well researched and compassionate response to the madness that has enveloped us in recent times.

It is ironic, but perhaps a tohu, that the three-headed taniwha that is our present coalition Government is replicated in a somewhat smaller form in our little piece of paradise.

These are at best tiresome, and at worst, damaging, relentless offerings from some correspondents, who decry all those who dare to question or challenge their viewse.

I can hear you sharpening your pencils already.
