A full tank of fuel has been stolen from a storage shed at Aniwhenua Hydro station.

Police reported this week that the fuel tank was removed from boats inside a storage shed, where the alarm system was smashed and cameras were disabled.

The break-in happened last Thursday.

Hefty pollen theft reporter

Police are investigating the six-figure theft of pollen from a kiwifruit orchard last week.

More than 12 kilograms of pollen, valued between $108,000 and $120,000, were reported stolen from the property on Macdonald Road, Te Teko, on Sunday.
