Letter: Bankruptcies

Why is it that a bankrupt person is able to restart a business after a short stand down period, and before their debts and obligations are fulfilled, including the full payment along with interest on money owed.

These shysters are routing the system, sanctioned by our political representatives, along with a soft judiciary.

To alleviate this aberration of true justice, those owing should owe that debt for life and any assets possessed by these defaulters should be forgiven only on their demise and any residue funds be seized to fulfil their moral obligations.

Whether or not you agree with me is your prerogative.

But bear in mind, no amount of distraction, bluff or obfuscation will alter this reality, that those whom you trusted should in no way be absolved from their moral obligations, indiscretions, and folly or incompetence.

Those who cause such unnecessary grief to their creditors should be held to account and forced to face their responsibilities.
