Kingsley Scouts Haunted House
KINGSLEY Scouts are turning their scout den into a haunted house again this Halloween, with several new scary surprises in store.
Scout leader Jason Te Whau said the group was “super excited” and had been busy this week making decorations and props for the terrifying transformation of their scout den at 6 Rimu Place.
The haunted house will be open on Wednesday and Thursday next week, from 5.30pm until 8pm for any thrill-seeking families.
“They can’t wait to show you the results of all their hard work. All new rooms and all new scares,” he said.
He said this year’s haunted house would have eight rooms, each with their own theme.
Games will be running for everyone waiting in line, as well as prizes for the best costumes.
“We loved seeing all the families that came through last year dressed up in costumes, which is so fun to see and is one of the things I love about Halloween; families having a good scare and a good laugh together.”
Entry is a gold coin, and food, baking and drinks will be available to purchase.
“Please try and carpool if you can as parking is limited. We will go ahead rain or shine as the Haunted House is indoors.
“See you there... if you dare.”
