Uber Eats Aotearoa general manager Andy Bowie said they were proud of the positive impact Uber had had in Aotearoa over the past 10 years, and were excited to bring the convenience of Uber Eats to Whakatāne and other new locations.
“We know the hospitality industry is looking forward to a big summer, and this expansion means more Kiwis can experience the convenience of getting their favourite meals and groceries delivered straight to their doorstep, creating new opportunities for local businesses to grow and delivery people to earn.”
Uber Eats is available in 17 towns, and with the additions that number will grow to 29.
