WHILE in Whakatāne on Thursday, I had a slight accident which necessitated a visit to the emergency department at Whakatāne Hospital.  

I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff in ED, to the two ladies in the AA office at Kopeopeo and also to Harold (St John) who kindly supplied my husband and I with a cup of tea.  

The treatment, care and kindness shown me was wonderful and much appreciated. Thank you, very much.
