THE Molly Morpeth Canaday Art Award 2025 has opened this week for entries.

Again, organisers are offering an Early bird entry fee of $40 per entry until October 13. After that the entry fee is $50 per entry. Entries close on Sunday, October 27, at 5pm.

The Molly Morpeth Canaday Art Award is the longest-running art award in New Zealand and has a long tradition of supporting emerging and established artists.

The MMCA not only offers substantial prize money but selected finalists’ work will be exhibited in Te Kõputu, Whakatāne gallery and viewed by art enthusiasts from around the country.
