Join us for Dan Jam, a community skate event celebrating the life and legacy of Daniel Paul Henriksen.

Following Daniel's sudden passing last year, his whānau have created this event to continue his passion for getting young people off devices and active through skating.

The day begins with a free Have-a-Go session, welcoming anyone interested in trying skateboarding or roller skating. Local skaters and coaches will be on hand to provide guidance, with skateboards, skates, helmets, and protective gear available to use thanks to Beeboh and Let's Roll Skate Schools.

After the Have-a-Go session, local skaters will take part in a Skate Jam, showcasing their skills and inspiring the next generation of riders. Whether you're a scooter rider, BMX rider, skateboarder, roller skater, or inline skater, you're invited to join the jam and share your tricks and style with the community.

Participants and skaters will also have the chance to win a range of prizes throughout the day.
