With Mitchell Park recently redeveloped into a vibrant, welcoming space, we saw the perfect opportunity to combine community spirit with a beautiful new setting. That’s how A Little Christmas in the Park was born: a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon filled with festive fun.

How Does It Fit with the Parade?
We’re teaming up with the Whakatāne Christmas Parade to make the day extra special. After enjoying the parade, head down to Mitchell Park for an afternoon of music, activities, and festive cheer. Our event runs from 12–4 PM, making it the perfect follow-on celebration.
